The Barista’s Grinder
All espresso grinders are good at one thing – crushing coffee beans. Those that excel though give greater control over grind profile, consistency of dosing and unnecessary wastage. In order to control these parameters, Victoria Arduino worked alongside a team of barista champions to find out what they wanted in an espresso grinder and how they could achieve it.
MYTHOS
The Mythos One was born out of a desire to give greater control over the consistency of coffee, both in terms of grind profile and coffee dose. By adding a controlled amount of heat to the burr chamber, the Mythos One can be brought up to operating temperature quickly and held there throughout the day to the demands of a busy cafe.
Add to this the unique Clump Crusher system which helps to provide fluffier grinds, and what you have is an incredibly accurate espresso grinder capable of providing consistent dosing and minimal wastage.

The burrs temperature has a substantial impact on the consistency of the dose. With the innovative technology ‘Clima Pro’, Victoria Arduino introduced in the Mythos 1 a smart system of the grinding chamber able to guarantee the dose consistency and especially improve the quality of the extracted coffee. With this system, Mythos One progresses from a technological point of view and becomes a top-notch grinder.
CLUMP CRUSHER SYSTEM
The innovative system ‘Clump Crusher’ guarantees the regular outflow of any coffee without creating clumps of coffee. It also avoids the formation of static electricity of the ground coffee particles.
PORTAFILTER LOCK
One of the ergonomic and functional improvements for the barista is the new portafilter lock. It reduces the pressure on the wrist of the user that continually does the same movement.
ERGONOMIC FRONT
The new front side of the machine allows full control of every operation. The LED lights guarantee illumination even in the darkest environments.
NANOTECH BURRS
The nanotech approach allows the modification of the molecular characteristics of the stainless steel and titanium, ensuring maximum hygiene and simplifying the cleaning procedure. It also impacts the duration of the burrs itself, guaranteeing high performance and reliability.
SILENT
This characteristic makes the grinder even more silent. It zeroes the unwanted and continuous sounds and guarantees a comfortable ambiance for the coffee shop and its customers.
